Plus, get ready for Lamine Yamal’s La Capital and a warm welcome back to Kun Agüero’s Kunisports, invited after their move to the Latin American league. How It Works: The Road to KWC Glory (2025 Format)

If you’ve followed the epic World Cups in Mexico and Italy, the format will feel familiar – it’s designed for maximum drama! Here’s the lowdown:

1. Round 1: All 32 teams face off in initial matchups.
2. Round 2 – Winners’ Bracket: The 16 winners from Round 1 will play each other. Victors here (2 wins, 0 losses) punch their ticket straight to the knockout stage!
3. Round 2 – Losers’ Bracket: The 16 losers from Round 1 also play each other. The defeated teams here (0 wins, 2 losses) are, unfortunately, eliminated.
4. Last Chance Round: This is where it gets intense! The 8 teams who won their Losers’ Bracket match (1 win, 1 loss) will face the 8 teams who lost their Winners’ Bracket match (also 1 win, 1 loss). The winners of these crucial Last Chance games also advance to the knockout stage. Essentially: Two wins and you’re in; two losses and you’re out!
