Kings Clash! Porcinos Dominate Ultimate Móstoles, Persas Cruise!
Two massive Winners’ Bracket showdowns determined the first teams to qualify for the coveted Round of 16 with perfect 2-0 records:
- Ultimate Móstoles (3) vs. Porcinos FC (7) (Winners’ Bracket): The Spanish “Clásico” in Paris! Reigning world champions Porcinos FC (Ibai Llanos) laid down a serious marker, defeating current Kings League Spain champions Ultimate Móstoles (DjMaRiiO) with an impressive 7-3 scoreline. Despite Ibai missing his Presidential Penalty, Porcinos’ attacking flair, including a clutch Double Goal from Nico Santos in stoppage time, proved too much. Porcinos FC are the FIRST team into the Round of 16! Ultimate Móstoles (1-1 record) now head to the Last Chance Round.
- Desimpedidos Goti (1) vs. Persas FC (4) (Winners’ Bracket): Persas FC (Zeein & Nicola Porcella) continued their dominant KWC run! They secured their spot in the Round of 16 with a convincing 4-1 victory over Brazilian side Desimpedidos Goti. Colombian striker Jhon Palacios was on fire, netting a hat-trick and making a strong case for the Golden Boot. Zeein even honored a promise to take his Presidential Penalty (though he missed!). Persas FC are THROUGH to the Round of 16! Desimpedidos Goti (1-1) will fight for their tournament lives in the Last Chance Round.
Survival Sunday (on a Wednesday!): La Capital & Miami 7 Stay Alive, Zaytouna FC Eliminated!
Two intense Losers’ Bracket matches saw dreams kept alive and the first team sent home:
- Zaytouna FC (5) vs. La Capital CF (6) (Losers’ Bracket): What a thriller to kick off the day! Lamine Yamal & La Cobra’s La Capital CF dug deep to keep their KWC dream alive, edging out GIMS’s Zaytouna FC 6-5 in a nail-biter. With this victory (1-1 record), La Capital CF advances to the Last Chance Round, where they’ll fight for a spot in the R16. Sadly, for Zaytouna FC, with a 0-2 record, their Parisian journey comes to an end. They are the FIRST team eliminated from the KWC France 2025, despite a valiant effort and GIMS scoring his historic Presidential Penalty in their first match.
- G2 FC (2) vs. Miami 7 (9) (Losers’ Bracket): Jake Paul & Adin Ross’s Miami 7 bounced back in STUNNING fashion! After their narrow loss to Porcinos, the American wildcard team unleashed an offensive onslaught, defeating Germany’s G2 FC with a dominant 9-2 scoreline. Miami 7 (1-1 record) showed their quality and now advance to the Last Chance Round. For G2 FC, a 0-2 record means their World Cup campaign is over.
